I took mum to see the Christmas displays at Milton Keynes on the theme of Wind in the Willows. It is well worth seeing and has delightful displays of the characters ratty, mole, badger and toad, some of them animated. A 7 feet tall badger bursts into animated life every 20 minutes. This is officially to tell a story but actually traumatises any unwary toddler standing nearby!
I can see potential in the blog for music/concert recommendations, recipe swaps, gardening tips, scrapbooking ideas, places to visit so I look forward to reading them.

Hi Bren, glad you are on the blog too. Carol took her mum to MK to see the display too and they also enjoyed it. I would like to boast that I have now finished my Christmas shopping after a very late start, but many thanks to S for doing so much internet shopping this year! I am now concentrating on food shopping and party shopping - please no-one eat too much over Christmas, if you all expand too much we'll not be able to move on 29th!! Love Dx
