Hello there,
How is everybody?
Life is pretty hectic for me at the mo - I don't seem to go anywhere without my huge pile of marking these days :-(. Nevermind, not long till Stations.
On Monday, we had an Egyptian Day at school. This involved a last minute costume creation using a cream sheet, staples and sellotape. However, the first comment I received from a child being; "Are you a slave?", indicated that my costume might not be the standard of the ones their parents had been working on, for the past month or so. Atleast my generic 'slave' costume will be easily adaptable for any other themed day. Perhaps a little over the top for anti-bullying day on Friday though.
Anyway, better get back to preparing my Christmas list...

And I thought teachers had it easy - only joking! Look forward to some Egyptian pictures then assuming you get all of those consent forms in.
Paul and Deborah are down at Southampton today - he has just had his offer of ABB for Computer Science. The Uni looks really good, just like a campus should do.
Good to have a blog from Soton. I hope the sheet can double up for a christmas bed!
Rachel, I loved the Christmas decorations near Bar Gate yesterday, but Paul wouldn't let me have a go on the merry-go-round. We liked the university campus etc, and then met Claire for a pizza, didn't get home until 9pm so it was a long day, leaving at 7am. Also looking forward to stations! Dx
Jonathan and I both visited a Southampton Uni open day, and were really impressed with the campus and facilties. Have you been for a look around many others yet?
I haven't seen the decorations in the town yet, I'll have to have a looky next week.

Southampton is the only one I've been to with Paul but he has been to others, Imperial and Cambridge I think.
